Daydreaming about travel is somewhat of an occupational hazard for us at Back Track, as we are constantly inspired to think about where we are keen to explore next. While we are all temporarily grounded, we’ve had a bit of time to think about where we want to visit next when the travel restrictions are lifted and we are able to travel again.

South America is always at the top of my list for places I want to go back to, for the wine, scenery, culture and to practice my Spanish. To narrow it down though, the landscape and scenery of Southern Peru (Arequipa and Colca Canyon), Bolivian Salt Flats & Atacama Desert of Chile would make one epic trip!

I cannot wait to go home to Italy to visit my family and friends in Tuscany. It’s been an extremely difficult few weeks/months for my home country and being this far away has been hard.
Naomi, Adventure Consultant
Georgia, Armenia and Iran are where I want to go next – although I am worried Iran may be off the cards for a while! The history is what is drawing me to these countries, as well as the gorgeous landscapes of Georgia and Armenia.

As soon as the gates open, I am heading to Botswana for some much-needed safari time. I’m thinking I might travel home via Mauritius for some fun in the sun as well.
Laura, Admin & Reservations
Can’t wait to go back over to America, where I used to live for 12 years, to visit my friends over there.
Andrea, Kokoda Operations Manager
I would love to do a bit of a camping road trip with a group of friends, somewhere away from the city, where there are space and freedom, have a good laugh, and support some of the small local areas and businesses that are hurting.

I cannot wait to head back to Nepal with our group of trekkers in November! To stand on top of Gokyo Ri watching the sun come up behind the tip of Everest and to just enjoy being.
Ray, Director
I can’t wait to get back to the Indian Himalaya.
