Here’s a look at where we’re heading (or dreaming of heading) next year — and maybe it will inspire your next adventure too!
Emma: “I’m heading to South Africa for the first time in February.”
With its rich culture, incredible wildlife, and breathtaking landscapes, South Africa is a dream destination for anyone who loves adventure. Emma’s journey to South Africa is sure to include some epic highlights, from safaris in Kruger National Park to exploring Cape Town’s iconic Table Mountain.
Steph: “Rome & Paris are at the top of my list for 2025 – I can’t wait to explore Europe!”
Steph is embracing the enduring allure of Europe, and two of its most popular cities. Her first European adventure promises a feast of history, art, and culinary delights. For those who haven’t visited Europe yet, these two cities are perfect gateways to explore the continent.
Matt: “South America would be good as I’ve only been to Ecuador and want to practice my Spanish. Also, I’m surprisingly keen on Thailand as the food is awesome and there will soon be a direct Jetstar flight Brisbane to Bangkok.”
Matt’s plans to expand his South American adventures and language skills, and Thailand’s vibrant food scene has caught his attention too. Whether it’s tasting Malbec in a Hacienda or indulging in Pad Thai on Bangkok’s bustling streets, his 2025 is shaping up to be a feast for the senses.
Naomi: “I’ll be in Cairns for my birthday in the middle of the year and hope to be in Hobart in September. If budget and time were no object, Cambodia and Japan would be the first two on my list.”
Naomi’s plans for Cairns and Hobart bring a focus on Australian destinations, while her dream trips to Cambodia and Japan highlight the charm of Southeast Asia and East Asia. From the temples of Angkor Wat to the cherry blossoms of Kyoto, these destinations are perfect for culture seekers.
Tori: “My travel buddy and I are hoping to do Sri Lanka or northern Thailand in early 2025. But any time I can get to Nepal is my true happiness.”
Tori hopes to blend the serene beauty of Sri Lanka and Thailand with her passion for trekking in Nepal. Whether she’s exploring Sigiriya Rock, enjoying Chiang Mai’s cultural charm, or hiking the Annapurna Circuit, her 2025 will be full of unforgettable adventures.
Wietske: “Southern or East Africa, China or Japan, and anywhere in South America!”
Wietske’s ambitious travel dreams cover multiple continents. From the savannas of Africa to the vibrant cities of China and the natural wonders of South America, her list reminds us that the world is full of incredible places waiting to be explored.
Sarah: “Morocco is where I would love to go to in 2025.”
Sarah’s choice of Morocco promises a mix of stunning landscapes and rich traditions. With its bustling souks, vibrant cities like Marrakech, and the vast Sahara Desert, Morocco is a destination that captivates all the senses.
Leanne: “I’m heading to Canada in May for the first time and cannot wait. The Canadian pavilion at Expo 88 was my favourite, and I’ve wanted to get there ever since!”
Leanne’s long-awaited trip to Canada is a dream come true. From exploring the stunning Rockies to immersing herself in vibrant cities like Vancouver and Toronto, Canada offers endless opportunities for adventure, nature, and culture. Prue: “I would love to get to Africa to visit all of our industry partners!”
