Another interesting site to visit is the Chimi Lhakhang. Adorned with unique designs and an intriguing history, you won’t be surprised to learn this site is also known as the temple of fertility.

Now housing a College of Bhutanese Astrology, the riverside monastery complex of Pangri Zampa was founded in the early 16th century and is said to be one of the oldest in Bhutan. The college is now Bhutan’s most important for traditional astrology and is responsible for deciding dates for important national events such as royal weddings.
